This is one of my favorite coffees. If you can make this at home, you can save money and probably get a better taste.
Starbucks Frappuccino
- 2 shots espresso (approx. 3 oz) – You can alternate this with coffee that has been run through the coffee maker twice.
- 2 1/2 cups low-fat milk
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1 Tbls. pectin OR 1 tsp. pectin + 1 tsp. arrowroot
How to make
- Stir sugar into espresso. Cool mixture.
- Stir milk and pectin into espresso mixture until pectin is dissolved.
- Fill a glass with ice and either serve the mixture over ice or pour glass contents into a blender and blend for 30-45 seconds. Enjoy!

I’m stoked to try this recipe! I was wondering, how much of a “flavor” should I add – say to make a “Cinnamon Dolce” Frappuccino?
How do I alter the recipe? I’m going the blending way, any idea how much ice to use? I’m afraid to mess it up and have it be watery.
Oh! I watched a video of someone pre-making a coffee blend – (minus) the milk, and chocolate syrup for the ‘mocha’ flavoring – in my case I’d use the Cinnamon Dolce” – in ice-cube trays?

It seems like a good idea since you can store it easier and make it on a whim.
Any idea how I can incorporate all this: Cinnamon Dolce syrup, a/o the ice cube tray idea?
