Frosted Mocha – Easy!

  • 1 cup freshly brewed coffee
  • 1 pint of softened vanilla ice cream
  • 6 tbsp chocolate syrup
  • 1 cup prepared cold coffee

Serves 4

  1. Place hot coffee and chocolate syrup in a blender container.
  2. Blend until smooth.
  3. Cool to room temperature.
  4. Pour into a medium bowl.
  5. Add softened ice cream and cold coffee.
  6. With a rotary beater, beat until smooth.
  7. Spoon into tall glasses, and serve immediately.

Cold Kahlua Coffee Punch

Yield: 48 Servings

  • 6 oz Dry instant coffee
  • 1 1/2 c Sugar
  • 1 qt Water; boiling
  • 1 ga Vanilla ice cream
  • 2 c Kahlua
  • 2 qt Milk
  • 2 qt Water; cold
  1. Dissolve coffee and sugar in 1 quart boiling water; stir well and refrigerate.
  2. When ready to serve, combine cold coffee mix with the remaining ingredients and pour into a punch bowl.
  3. Leave the ice cream in one large chunk.
  4. Serve in punch cups.

Irish Coffee

Ingredients (2 servings)

  • 1 1/2 c Warm Water
  • 1 tb Instant Coffee Crystals
  • 1/4 c Irish Whiskey
  • 1 x Brown Sugar To Taste
  • 1 x Dessert Topping *

Instructions

The dessert topping should be in a pressurized can. In a 2-cup measure combine water and instant coffee crystals. Micro-cook, uncovered, on 100% power for about 4 minutes or just till steaming hot. Stir in Irish whiskey and brown sugar. Serve in mugs. Top each mug of the coffee mixture with some pressurized dessert topping.

Hot Cinnamon Coffee

Perfect for a wintery morning, this recipe makes two small cups of coffee.

Add sugar to taste if you like.

  • 1 1/2 tsp instant coffee powder (I use Nescafe Classic)
  • 3/4 cup skim milk
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1/8-1/4 tsp cinnamon

2 servings – 2 small coffee

  1. Mix the milk and water together in a pot and heat on a low flame.
  2. As the mixture just starts to boil, add the coffee powder and stir.
  3. Bring to a boil and switch off the burner.
  4. Add cinnamon, stir, and pour into two small cups to serve.
